Fashion Fest '08 - The Ultimate Fashion Event

Fashion Fest '08 is about empowering women. We're presenting a fun, interactive event full of life-changing information. Our focus is on emphasizing the beauty of all women and putting sophistication back in fashion. This event will keep you engaged from beginning to end.

There are so many negative influences on girls and young women today, coming from so many different places. Our goal is to help you make decisions that affect how the world sees women, and how you see yourselves. We want you to be a woman people respect, because in order for guys to respect you, you must respect yourself first. Every participant leaves with a renewed sense of self, empowered to be young women of integrity, style and influence.

Fashion Show

We all possess an inner beauty, but not all of us know how to reveal it. Professional stylists, wardrobe and image consultants will share the simple secrets of making an impression, and being admired. And with the help of our professional consultants, we'll also stage an exciting Fashion Show.

Extreme Makeover Contest

In addition to getting valuable information from professionals who work in the fashion industry, we'll select one lucky individual to receive an Extreme Makeover to help reveal your true self.

Those interested in an Extreme Makeover are asked to submit an essay (please limit to 400 words) about what being "A True Woman" means to you and why you should be chosen for the makeover. We also ask you to submit a full body photograph taken within the last 30 days.

Deadline for submission is July 3rd. Submissions may be mailed to P.O. Box 297827, Columbus, OH 43229, or emailed to us at KristelGS@gmail.com. Please be sure to attach your photo to your email.

The Fashion Fest Committee will review all submissions and select a winner. The winner receives a head to toe makeover backstage during the Fashion Fest '08 and will be revealed during the runway fashion show at 12:15 p.m. on July 19 during Now or Never '08.
